“Heart (feat. Keep Shelly In Athens)” // MMOTHS

This is definitely my chillwave jam for this spring.

“Go” // The Maccabees

This being my first foray into the music of The Maccabees, I’m enjoying it a lot. Nothing mind-blowing here, but some great atmospheric indie rock with a good deal of lush instrumentation.

Afterlives - All Teeth

“All Teeth” // Afterlives

Enemies List just has some of the most depressing and sincere bands and projects in modern music.

“252” // Gem Club

This video is almost too dramatic, but with a song like this, almost no amount of drama is enough. This has to be one of the most haunting songs of 2011.

This is a great indie-rock/emo revivalist album that holds its own when stacked against its contemporaries. Highlights include “Books By Thoreau” and “$600 Exorcism”.
